Hi this post is from Jan!
After a beautiful very rainy, long chaotic train ride of missed connections and details that were "lost in translation", we arrived in Salzburg. What a place! Castles, mountains and cobblestones, mozart and laderhosen! We walked and walked in the pouring rain plotting our route for tomorrow. When you read the signs you can easily see why some is lost in translation! Careful with your pronunciation! We are heading off to see some Sound of Music highlights and hope the rain stays away and the sun comes out! Thank you for following the blog, we have lots of fun keeping it up-dated and sharing our days!

I agree--Beautiful Salzburg! Can't wait to hear about the Sound of Music tour today. Unfortunately I see it's raining yet again in your neck of the woods but looks like it's only going to be cloudy for the rest of the day without the moisture.
Lots of flooding going on around Maple Creek & the transCanada highway is closed so if you're driving from Regina to Calgary you have to take a major detour through Kindersley.
Talk to you soon.
Much Love Papa & Mumoo
I was a HUGE Mozart fan many years ago. I was obsessed with the movie Amadeus. So cool that you've been in Salzburg! Of course I'm a smidge envious.
Seems like you're having an awesome trip.
